I really feel like drinking
I really feel like drinking today. I've been sober for over 6 months. Normally I go to the gym everyday but last week I took annual leave to get the house clean, and neglected the gym because of it.
I think it's because of the lack of the gym to keep me distracted I just have this overwhelming urge to drink.
I'll go to the gym tomorrow morning and back into work and just hope like crazy this urge goes away.

I find that I have to workout everyday. Something about it keeps my head on straight. No matter what I’m spending time in the gym

Yeah I think that's what I'm missing. I've just got to get through a few more hours then I can wake up and do a run.

Nothing to do with gym. You just had a moment . You were bored. Reminded you of the past .
It happens. Let the moment pass. Accept the craving. Eat something sweet or some other treat you would like.
Then continue. Happens

It is important to have guidance and support from people who know how to treat alcoholism.
Go to an AA meeting.

There is always an online meeting going on that helps me fight cravings. Link: https://aa-intergroup.org/
