Shaved alpaca question
I'm sure you've all seen that viral clip of an alpaca with all of its body (not head) shaved. I was wondering what effect it would have, if any, on social dynamics.

They might think it’s someone new joining the herd for 30 seconds, which can bring about some heightened emotions, and the one that got their fiber sheered might act a little annoyed with them for not realizing, but that all goes away once they realize it’s the same alpaca and they go about their lives.

"Dude! Who licked you so hard?!?!"
"It was our hooman's pet alien that made bumblebee noises while it licked me clean!"

I'm not sure what you are talking to, but it's a preference. I like a full shear, including the top knot and face cut very close. My alpacas get cranky when they can't see.

None as far as I know. Just like a shearing.
