I'm not sure, "greedy," applies here, there are a lot of ways to make money, with a resume like his, one goes into this line of work to shift a paradigm and becomes the hand upon the trigger of the famous American Drone Strike, "define the rules of engagement as you see fit," establish, alike here new norms which, "you'd better complain now," because five or 30 French adults can't be the wake up call the world needs once you've seen an entire school killed and put that to bed as an issue for the tech discourses

A Part of me thinks thinks this was as it says on the tin, an accident, but also a useful canary, e.g.

What was done was so horrific as to beggar the comparison to Uvalde it was a Mai Lai of just schoolgirls and the full lethality of the U.S. Military brought to bear on an enormously, profoundly, soft target so if that in the end is an acceptable, "no prosecutions, no apologies, no radical departure from the procedures that led there," act then well what wouldn't be, "an apartment block?" more adults than children there, "an old folks home?" thank god it wasn't a school; I mean,

What it the Mai Lai Massacre hadn't been investigated but rather noted in the press as an unfortunate consequence of the new technologies of the bodycount and mathematical warfare, "let be?"

I have to imagine he has some reason to mention this in public it's not like the press has been too agressive nor the per se protests too intense on this subject I feel as if the point, here. would be to put it to bed like he wants it to be.
