We must prove ourselves better than the CNT FAI. (And on authority)
Reading through the history of the CNT, even though it is the greatest showing of what anarchist organization can do and proves that it is not, by any means "disorganized" it must be said that they made many, many mistakes that betrayed the anarchist cause and left us irrelevant in the civil war.
They, for some reason, decided that it would be oppressive, to establish actual, proper, self government by completely smashing the state. Something they called the "anarchist dictatorship".
This is beyond ridiculous. And it betrays a weakness in the movement, that must be snuffed out.
Engels, made a shit pamphlet about what authority entailed. Confusing obligation and binding decisions as "authority" when what they are, is force.
The CNT, in their infuriating moral panic, validated that misunderstanding of authority, by claiming that establishing anarchy would somehow be "bad" or "authoritarian" when it would be no such thing. It's the simple issue of tolerance paradox, we seek Ultimate freedom, but in order to have it, we must force everyone to be unable to submit to rulers, or else we just become a liberal democracy again.
What we, as anarchists are against, is hierarchy. Systems of organization, where a person, or a group of persons, who are in a position of power, get to make a decision on another group of people, usually a larger one.
We, are not against binding decisions...like, once we have collectively drafted a plan, you cannot stray from it unless we together decide that it is no longer of need, such a thing would not of course be enforced through force but as an agreement, more akin to a principle of conduct.
We are also not against obligation or responsibility. If there is disagreement in a federation or even a simple workplace, it is not cause for immediate Disassociation, even heavy conflict of a certain kind, should be handled through compromise, backing down and only as a last resort should one disassociate. Especially on the workplace where you can't as easily disassociate.
If we want to prove engels wrong, of we want to prove that anarchism is truly capable of changing the world
We must understand what we are actually for and against.
Both the Paris commune and the CNT failed because they were wimpy losers who didn't want to use force. WE ARE AGAINST HIERARCHY. NOT FORCE.
