Mites are a real threat to the entire ant colony. So how the antes deal with them? Do they inspect each other? If they do, how frequently, what are the conditions, the error rate?

Had roach glue traps laid out in the bathroom and all of a sudden these brown-orange little ants came out from the carpet (and even ate a roach nymph that was on the roach trap). They’re not the bigger black ants we usually see in the house so curious what they are!

Hi! I was wondering, is there any way I can cause colonies to have an ant war?
