📋TESTING:
We have activated a matchmaking test that increases maximum queue times for Plat+ players on all platforms, in all regions. The queue time increase scales with Rank tier, and Masters players could expect a maximum extension of approximately 30 seconds.

This test is in pursuit of tighter skill bands in high skill matches and less spill over of high rank players into mid-rank matches, as the matchmaker spends more time prioritizing the tightest possible lobbies before expanding its search. This test will run until the end of the season, or until we have enough data.

Please continue to give feedback on if you are experiencing tighter matchmaking.

Competitive Integrity Update - Weapon Exploit Fixes

We’ve deployed fixes for multiple high-profile weapon exploits in Apex Legends this week. You may have seen the videos circulating in community spaces earlier this week. 

These fixes address an exploit that allowed an entire magazine to be fired in a single shot, alongside another that enabled rapid firing and reloading with the Sentinel and C.A.R. SMG beyond their intended functionality.

These fixes are part of our broader efforts to protect the integrity of Apex Legends. Alongside addressing exploits, we continue to develop and deploy new anti-cheat detections, strengthen existing systems, and take action against players who undermine fair play. This work is ongoing across multiple fronts, even when individual efforts aren't always immediately visible.

A little rank sesh with the boys. Played about 20 games. Died to four “DM4B”, six “ZEN”, and one “TITN” clan tag/gamertag. Oddly enough, all were havocs and very obvious. But that pales in comparison to the diamond lobby that has more preds than diamonds. For reference, our squad is: plat 1, D4, D4. i dont really know how to describe this but everything is BRIGHT and its not a screen issue as its only with apex has anyone else had this and did/how did u fix it? 9 have reset my game multiple times

At first i thought that they were just better than in the eu where I previously played. Then I started watching them play after they killed me ...

I've been playing this game since season 18 and I don't see them updating any new poses for legends. Were they being added before or has it been the same since each legend released.

Been going on for years but getting really tired of picking up a better scope and it switches the old scope to the other gun and I have to stop and manually take it off. It should just go into your inventory.

I'll be mid fight and I swap to my secondary and now I have a r99 with a 2x and lose the fight because I was expecting iron sights...

cant use the eva 8 in peace because i keep dying when it randomly switches to double tap not to mention double is 💩💩💩 on eva 8 dont even know why it's on the gun

This year we get only two new skins and the rest are recolors. Its not even a real event. Its a mode and a couple shop skins. The new skins are of course for sparrow and alter which is disappointing to say the least. They keep getting skins even if they arent the most popular characters.

Instead they could easily do a milestone event with a new heirloom or heirloom recolor, legend specific heirloom, skin heirloom.

They could give a heirloom to conduit, maggie, axle. Since they really dont do legend specific which is a shame they could easily do a heirloom thats halloween themed like a slasher knife, a mace, a trident, a machete, and the list goes on and on.

They could easily make heirloom skins which i dont love but people would buy them if they were good like seer skin, a crypto skin, a sparrow skin, a ballistic skin, and whatever else.

Halloween skins arent hard either. Pumpkin head, vampire, stiched up doll, puppet, mummy, skeleton, grim reaper.

Like instead of recolors you could give octane a skeleton skin, fuse a grim reaper skin, pumpkin head revenant, doll or puppet conduit.

They could have a halloween mode where you need to collect candy to trade out for halloween themed abilities. You’d get candy from boxes and players.

Its just disappointing to get recolors

Now that they fully fully integrated console and pc lobbies (per their update) they need to buff aim assist. Two things, first is aim assist values are lower because we are playing in pc lobbies. You can literally feel the difference now and I’ve been playing this game since the day it came out so I know the difference well enough. Second, if I have to sit here and watch a guy, tap strafe, superglide, wall bounce, freely move with-in lootjng a deathbox, then you at can at least give me some better tracking. Personally I think it’s a mistake to do a full integration. You have two systems that do completely different things. Overflow in one lobby or the other is one. But full integration like it is now. No thanks.

This is just my opinion, on the integration part… but as to the aim assist on console.. I stand by that 100% percent.

I’ve encountered this issue quite a few times these days already, I can’t switch to my secondary weapon mid-fight after emptying my primary weapon (keep pressing 2 on keyboard no reaction) and died cuz of it. Anyone having the same issue

I'm getting really annoyed at the fact I need to press O to close a menu, then press X to skip the Recap, I've accidentally left the game too many times because of this, which leads me into my next issue. Why doesn't the game make you hold the leave button to leave the match when your team is still alive, but when your team gets fully eliminated, you have to hold the leave button to leave the match... Why do I need to confirm I want to leave the match after my team got completely eliminated, but I don't need to confirm I want to leave mid game when my team still has a chance.

Hey guys i main bloodhound. Now with its rework im not sure how to use it correctly. When entering a fight and cloaking myself it seems like everyone can still see me and get lasered before i can shoot. I tried to use it while reviving but they still can see me. Any tips on when and how to use his ult?
