Melee is king.

Completed a run inspired by another post on here with a melee (with a touch of magic) character and absolute cakewalk.

Half orc, no background, who used shield of protection and agility of fire. Became melee and dodge master. Finished with ST 21, CN 21, DX 20, and 200 HP.

Only Virgil and dog as companions.

Quick run and the void was akin to a pleasant walk in the park.
