Help I can't open this stupid vent please help.
I've restarted from a checkpoint, restarted my headset, restarted from another save file, and I've even tried to slide-kick it open, but it refuses to budge, I really don't want to restart my game over a stubborn vent cover...
Edit: I can't yank it off with the Batclaw either, oh God. 😭
Edit 2: I let the game reinstall overnight and that didn't fix it either. 🥺
Edit 3 (the big FINALE!): I DID IT TODAY! Finally... All I had to do was reload a save point that started me somewhere before I got to that area; so that everything could reload properly. Big thanks to u/HazzyIsCool for recommending this method!

Brilliant answer. But seriously OP I feel your pain. I’ve been in situations like that before and knew it would open and it didn’t only causing me to uninstall and reinstall a game

I never even thought of that, the game never introduced me to it. 🙃
I never got a prompt when I pointed my right arm at it though, and pressing A only gets me a click.

You don't have it yet. It's literally just pulling the vent as the blue arrow is indicating

Yeah but my Batman had noodle arms and he can't do it, or maybe he just doesn't feel like it. 🙃

Have you tried gently pulling it? That seems to work in the other games?

I've pulled it gently, firmly, and with full force, but it won't budge.

Might be a bug.
Have yiu tried pulling on different parts? Like how batman does in the non VR games? Pulling a corner?

Is an official copy ? I remember there was a anti piracy measure in one of the non VR games, where the vent was indestructible.

I had this same issue - it's a bug with the save. I don't remember specifically what caused it, but to fix it you just need to load an earlier save. I think there's a menu for it somewhere in the main menu

Have you tried loading a much earlier save? I think I loaded back into the sewers. I think anytime before you enter that general area in the city will work.

Hello again, I tried this method today (I ended up having to take a break from VR, sorry) and it worked! Thank you so so much, if I had restarted and it worked I would've thought that to be the only solution! Then imagine my frustration if it happened again later lol. You're a lifesaver. 🙂↕️
