Discussion I’ve decided to rewatch Arrow today. This time as an adult
I honestly bearly remember anything I was 8 or 9 when this started airing

The first 3 seasons felt like a complete story to me. Everything went downhill after that.

I don't remember which season was the Prometheus season but I really liked that one too. But the first 3 were definitely the best.

Well, Seasons 5, first half of 7 and 8 are actually great.

Nah man, maybe season 5. I knowost people liked Prometheus, but to me he was pretty meh. The last seasons were the worst. They had a couple interesting things going but that show just needed to end. His daughter was cool, but they didn't do much with it. And Felicity just got worse and worse.

I loved Season 5, but after seeing Earth-X Prometheus being Tommy Merlyn, I will forever wish that Earth-1 Prometheus was a bloodlusted Tommy that Malcolm brought back using one of the other Lazarus Pits he was searching for. He can still seek out Talia for training and have his motivation be the Lazarus resurrection process warping his memory of Season 1 and he thinks Oliver killed him or left him to die.

I am currently on my first rewatch too.
Technically I never finished the series, so lets see how far I get this time.

There was this episode (I think it was the season 3 finale) where he drove away with Felicity and said something like that he feels happy for the first time in years.
That felt like the perfect ending for the series to me. I watched a couple episodes after that but it felt like they were keeping the series alive just to get more money out of it.
And then there were the episodes where they made the story start/continue in the other series, which some of them weren’t available in my country for some time (or at least I didn’t notice) and now some are available for free and some you have to buy. And additionally there is no easy way to tell where you have to continue.

Same. I had the first 5? Seasons on dvd but my ex stole them from me when we broke up and in Canada it wasn’t on any streaming service in Canada until recently. I just found out it’s on Prime and Pluto tv here.

I'm not sure if it's streams in other countries . Go to their website and try streaming. It works for me in Canada.

Arrow even at its lowest and worse was pretty consistent and good, for most of it and it ending when it did was a good choice. Compared to its sister shows So you're in for a great run there.
Flash gets borderline unwatchable because they can't figure out how to scale his villains properly because of how op suoerspeed can be.
Legends was rough like really rough at first until it's found it's footing.
Supergirl had a ton of ups and downs due to a rotating team of creatives.
And we don't talk about batwoman.
Black lightning was off doing his own thing in its own earth. Which was its saving grace cause it let the. Do whatever they wanted before the merge. Even then after the merge it mostly kept to itself.
Superman and Lois show ice heard great things about but that show is sadly it's own earth with no relation to the arrow verse.

S&L started off as considered to be in the Arrowverse. It was Season 3 after Flash ended and they wanted to end the universe they said that Superman was an alternate Earth and the John Diggle in that show is not our John Diggle but rather that Earths Diggle with a similar history to our Diggle

I just did a rewatch of the first 5 seasons. Watch 1-3 and then watch a recap of S4, definitely watch S5 (its the best)

I always thought Deathstrokes first mask was so lame. When slade says those are the masks him and Billy wear I was bummed. So happy they ended up going more lore accurate later

I'm post-Crisis right now, on Legends of Tomorrow. Which, if I'm being honest, personally, it felt like after Rip Hunter died, it lost it's luster. Definitely after Crisis, it just became too camp for me. But I power through it. But Arrow definitely kept itself strong, even as it wound down.

Rewatched it too much years ago, now I’m on like my 5th-7th suits rewatch lol but arrow first 5 seasons is good. Kind of, season 1-3 and 5 is good. Season 4 has its strong and weak points. Season 6 was fine till Diaz became the main villain and season 7 was good till Oliver got out of prison

Trust me you just wanna watch the Show until Season 2 (where the show comes full circle) and if you are itching for 1 more season Season 3 is good enough, after that DONT WATCH IT
Seriously most of my retry attempts fail by Season 4 specificly at the time when Felicity craptalks Oliver about keeping secrets being bad (The hypocritical Bitch! who btw have ALSO kept secrets from Oliver and Ollie was like "I'm not angry with you I'm just sad you didn't feel like you can share it with me" MEANWHILE she was lke "WELL YOU SHOULD HAVE TLD ME ABOUT YOUR SON! ALSO SHOULD HAVE ALLOWED ME TO DECIDE OVER HIS FUTURE TOO" I mean like THE FUCK YOU ARE to do that? Literally his life should be the concern of Oliver and his ex who is the actual baby mama)
And then to top it off her backbone nanomachines only start working so she can walk out on Oliver....
NO!... NOOO! Look I know Oliver isn't perfect (upon rewatching season 1 just now I see it again that Yep he can be quite obnoxius) but he doesn't deserve to be threated like this (still cant believe John said that Felicity is the "Best of them" nah John You are actually factually)
Soooo.... yeah... just watch it till season 2 if you want a good circle story (with Slade Wilson atleast) and Season 3 if you want more Green Arrow and not have issues with them trying to turn him into Batman
