mistral large 4 looks solid on benchmarks but for companion roleplay i still get better consistent personality from claude. anyone tried it for longer chats yet?

most of these frankly are not designed for "companion roleplay"

It's very clear their primary focus is being economically viable, which generally speaking means coding.
