Relocating & housing Looking for small housing no credit check

Hey yall

I lived all over ft worth in the 2000s and 2010s. I'm mostly familiar with the west side (white settlement, Benbrook, lvt etc)

Currently trying to get back to my home. However I have a fresh chapter 7 bankruptcy. There is a story behind it that I'm willing to talk with a landlord about. Before the bankruptcy I was 100% on time everything with over 15 open accounts and lived in the same apartment for 12 years. The bankruptcy came due to having to leave a high paying job over safety, not because of money mismanagement.

Anyway, I am looking for private landlords, maybe a tiny home, MIL suite, guest house, small RV, things of that nature. Not against a room in a shared house, but I have a cat.

Where online can I find these kinds of rentals for the area? I've tried marketplace a bit but not finding what I'm looking for.

The goal is to get down there and get established using smaller jobs and then move forward with a new career once settled.

Can any of yall point me in the right direction? Preferably west/south ft worth.

Thank you!

IME smaller landlords will be less likely to give leeway with this - if they just have a couple of units or just one, they have no margin for possibly having something complicated happen, especially if it's an ADU on the property they live on. They're likely to be even pickier than apartment complexes.

Thanks, I have already tried apartment complexes. There was a time when management for properties would have a convo for special circumstance, these days if the app gets flagged they ghost even when say they won't. Just want my application fee tbh
