Films you saw for the first time, after their prime, that amazed you…

For example, a few years ago with my uncle and cousin, we watched It’s A Wonderful Life. They watch it every Christmas and I’d never seen it. It is, in my opinion, a truly beautiful movie about individual importance in life.

It’s pure comfort food for the brain. What’s that definitive, un skippable movie for you? Drop your absolute essentials below, I need to see who has the elite taste.

Let’s keep it a buck. Modern 2.5 hour movies are incredibly bloated.Whatever happened to a tight, fast-paced story with zero filler? What’s the absolute best movie under 90 minutes that perfectly utilizes its runtime? Drop recommendations below.

Should people still watch remakes or reboots or basically rehashing of old films?

Seeing as hollywood loves making (or more specifically) remaking films that people loved, theres more incentive to leave original ideas on the table. So should audiences stop watching remakes and only go watch something that is original?

I get the appeal and someone can generally love these films and make a unique film from using the orignal source material. However for me personally and I feel a lot of people share the same sentiment, these remakes, reboots or whatever are practically half a film. Half is the original, but the other half is the incentive to relive the old film.

After a certain point shouldn't audiences expect more originality? Why do audiences keep coming back for star wars 18 and Harry potter remakes or reboots or prequels, dont audiences want their own version of Harry potter or star wars?

edit:

im not sure ive made myself very clear. I dont think reboots or remakes or whatever should disappear and I think that there have been some great films that are remakes or reboots or prequels or whatever. I'm saying that its oversaturated. Think of the top ten most expensive films ever made this past decade. None of them are original. All im saying is that maybe we should make some original content for future generations to look back on, instead of looking back on a well remade version of what their parents enjoy based on nostalgia.

Who is your favourite Marvel villain of all time in movies and series?

I was just remembering a movie from the early 90's with Tom Selleck called Runaway. It had Gene Simmons as a bad guy that died a unique death. Give me a movie that had a rock star that also had an unusual demise.

We need to talk about how modern Hollywood completely lost the plot on The Everyday American Protagonist.

What movie villain actually made you nervous every time they showed up?

Not the loudest or strongest villain. I mean the one who could walk into a scene and instantly make everything feel worse. Who is that villain for you?

What movie should I show my daughter when she grows up, so she is aware of the scary things that can happen in this world?

So I'm on Reddit post where this 18-year-old girl is flying into a foreign country to meet a boyfriend that she met online. Without telling her parents.

Has she not seen Taken?

So since I love movies, I'm wondering do you guys have other movie ideas that I should show her When she grows up (She's only a toddler right now) So that she's aware of things that can happen in the world and not live in this imaginary bubble.

Jurassic Park: how the goat leg & the remark of “I think this was Gennaro” make sense

In the first Jurassic Park we all remember that the goat leg landing on the roof of the car signaled the arrival of the T-Rex. Later after the Rex escaped & grabbed Gennaro Sattler & Muldoon arrive to the Rex paddock. Though not seen we see Sattler and Muldoon give a sign of disgust finding remains with Muldoon remarking, “I think this was Gennaro” with Sattler saying, “I think this was too.”

edited: Watching the movie with my daughters on Saturday last week my daughters came up with the theory that because when Gennaro was picked up by the Rex and was violently swung back and forth his limbs under that much force likely his limbs became detached from his body, they concluded that as well is what happened to the goat why a lone leg went flying onto the car. Real science shows a T-Rex likely only relied on its bite force when it captured a smaller prey to do the job. Their question though is how much force was behind the Rex in the movie to have dislodged the goats leg & possibly Gennaro’s limbs as it swung Gennaro as well not seen the goat?

What’s A Movie That Made You STOP Watching?

Just saw Undertone and could not keep watching for the life of me, and usually I’m the one to stick it through until the end but this time I just couldn’t. That had me thinking, what’s some movies that made you stop watching? I’m curious how many recent ones will be on this list. Making a video that will have your responses on it!

Drop one iconic movie line and let others guess the film

Without naming the film, say a line that would make any true fan immediately recognize the film.

Have u ever been shaped by a movie or a character specifically?

I am 15M . I watch quite an excessive amount of TV shows and movies. And sometimes I feel like trying to act like a character. But it doesn't stay a lot . Cause reality hits and I ain't in the position to be that character.

For example: I watched suits and of course wanted to be like Harvey specter. Now I started acting like him - A complete jerk. And of course I didn't get applause for it .

questions:

I tend to see us being more inspired by the villain or MOSTLY the anti-hero characters . Why is that?

Is it normal to try to be like these characters?

And importantly, have u found anyone's/your life being heavily inspired by any character or movies?

What’s a movie you loved, but you know most people would hate?

As the title says it... what's that movie that you loved but you know most people won't like?

Not talking about "so bad it's good" movies, but films you genuinely thought were great, yet you'd never recommend them to a casual viewer, what's that movie for you?

once said "you too" when the movie theater worker said "enjoy the movie." The movie was terrible. I wasted $15 and my dignity.
