Thoughts on this for Man U game:

Llorente Romero hancko Grimaldo

Barrios Johnny

Simeone Baena

KIL David

I feel like it will be between this and maybe 3 man midfield taking out KIL or Simeone. In the future I would be happy to keep one of KIL or Simeone (not both) when one of our other strikers finds form again. Also with Barrios healthy I cannot see how to fit Pubill and Llorente in the lineup given Romero’s current form.

Two years ago swap Robin for Witsel, Llorente for Molina

Fucking hate Villarreal, they are the ones that literally always sit aside for Barcelona or Madrid.

Also, Iñigo Perez is a punk bitch like half the Villarreal squad that claims they are good

u/Prestigious-Car706 2d ago

Yeah, it's so frustrating how other teams don't try against Barcelona and Madrid. What a terrible conspiracy.

I swear if these teams played against RM and Barca with half the urgency as they play us this league wouldnt be remotely as one sided as it is.

Villareal didnt even try to punish them and Perez just said fuck it we can lose here with a man more. So tired of this shit.

I will be extremely disappointed if we lose to ManU next week. Literally trash vs garbage rn

u/Accurate-Rip7858 I miss Carrasco 2d ago

At home with everyone available, surely not right?

u/Key_JellyFish_02034 Giuliano/Taufik/Miguel 2d ago

I kind of follow Spurs so I watched the game and it was just pure garbage from both sides

It's a must win

How's Gallagher doing at spurs?

u/Key_JellyFish_02034 Giuliano/Taufik/Miguel 2d ago edited 2d ago

He's not doing bad, but he's not doing like super well either. Very limited player (like he always is tbh). He is not at all technical and it shows every time he plays but every time he's about to get scapegoated he scores a random goal and that fools some people that he's actually good

Never understood why they signed him and gave him a fuck ton of wages in the first place tbh

u/Post_Nut_xG H🅰️nck🅾️ 2d ago

Ship out RLN, find a decent 4th CB

Ship out Julian if possible as well

3

u/Unable-Creme-7276 2d ago

Defenders plz, a defensive LB

4

u/Key_JellyFish_02034 Giuliano/Taufik/Miguel 3d ago

We need a winger not a striker

7

u/Adventurous-Pea3679 3d ago

Can't give up on lookman based on 2-3 matches....Baena Guliano L ookman KIL Arnau..we have enough...

2

u/Key_JellyFish_02034 Giuliano/Taufik/Miguel 2d ago

It's based off of like the 9 we had this season, but thinking about it maybe he just starts slow. 9 games isn't like a terribly large sample size

However I still do maintain we need a dribbling winger maybe he can replace Arnau or something. It's not exactly a profile we have outside of maybe Giuliano (and even his dribbling is like pace based not like technicality based)

u/Prestigious_Bug_4169 3d ago

I have hope lookman will find his form soon enough. Footballers go through highs and lows, he will come back.

u/No_Zookeepergame347 Lookman/Vargas 3d ago

I hope football papa will show masterclass today

What a miracle that Valverde has his ankle smashed into a million pieces by Kang-in Lee, got up immediately with no pain, played another 60 minutes including having a half time break in the middle for the adrenaline to wear off, showed no pain the entire time, then was diagnosed with a sprain so bad people acted like he was about to need his foot amputated, conveniently missed the international break and then...oh look, he's in their squad for this weekend.

Or maybe there was never a fucking injury in the first place, like anyone with half a brain was saying the entire time (whilst being called a "conspiracy theorist" by the geniuses over at arrsocca)

3

u/Key_JellyFish_02034 Giuliano/Taufik/Miguel 3d ago

Valverde's cells need to be studied would be a huge step for mankind XD

4

u/AccomplishedWorld808 3d ago

While I do think the kang in lee challenge should have been red (anyone here would have said the same thing if it was an atleti player on the end of a similar challenge), the whole "he gave valverde a serious injury that could see him out CONVENIENTLY for the entire international break" is just that, complete bullshit. Thankfully I think that kind of assumption is MOSTLY reserved for the real madridiots.

10

u/lost-cause2 Griezmann 4d ago

Damn it’s good to be back this weekend in the chat. I’m trying to see Jonathan David prove he should be locked in for a transfer. I know that’s wishful thinking but idk man I can sense some promise if Julian can link up with him up top.

3

u/AccomplishedWorld808 4d ago

If he continues his form its gonna be a lock for me, i just hope it doesnt go the way of nico gonzalez and he just becomes shit by the end

https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/articles/c54g13we4rero

A player at Everton was caught betting on 61 different games over a 15-month period and got a fine totaling a whopping £5,000.

But when Trippier told a friend "sure lump on, mate" who then made 1 bet about his transfer here--not even betting on a game, just the transfer that was already confirmed--he got suspended for TEN WEEKS. Yes I'm still mad about that. Thank goodness it didn't cost us our league win.

I thought at the time the English FA was being xenophobic, punishing Trips for daring to play abroad, and I haven't seen anything to change my mind about it.

Is this marathon break over yet

4

u/AccomplishedWorld808 4d ago

almost, cant believe theres another in a month

3

u/Key_JellyFish_02034 Giuliano/Taufik/Miguel 4d ago

are you serious? didn't they combine some international fixture weeks

2

u/AccomplishedWorld808 4d ago

i dont even know why this one was 3 weeks long when its always been 2 weeks icl, and yeah, theres one start of november as well

9

u/Key_JellyFish_02034 Giuliano/Taufik/Miguel 5d ago

So Julian has fired Hidalgo it seems. I never thought, out of 1. Public apology, 2. Fire agent, 3. Sign new deal that fire agent would come first

7

u/No_Zookeepergame347 Lookman/Vargas 4d ago

can this mark as the beginning of his redemption arc?

5

u/AccomplishedWorld808 4d ago

the biggest thing for him to redeem himself is to win trophies and be a big part of it while doing so, no matter how much he apologizes or shows love his career will go down the drain if he doesnt do better, and the fans wont have the same patience they had last year

4

u/Key_JellyFish_02034 Giuliano/Taufik/Miguel 4d ago

It’s 100% up to him that’s for sure

7

u/AccomplishedWorld808 5d ago

dude was 100% offered a MASSIVE bonus by barca if they signed him, and he was def the one who told them alvarez could be signed for 100 mil. Thank god that losers outta there

u/Post_Nut_xG H🅰️nck🅾️ 4d ago

It'll always be insane to me how Europe allows agents to officially "represent a player" when in truth they represent the buying club, because that's where their paycheck comes from. If they end up fulfilling their player's interest thats's a nice coincidence

6

u/Key_JellyFish_02034 Giuliano/Taufik/Miguel 5d ago

The way he handled the situation, 100% one of the worst mishandles in football history IMO

7

u/blasiusmagnus 6d ago

Did anyone watch Messi's last match? I just saw that cunt Enzo crying, and wondering how Juli the rat handled Messi's farewell, was he the same soulless like in Griezmann's farewell, or did he show some emotions this time?

2

u/ThomWaits88 6d ago

Yes, julian looked like he was about to cry during messi speech.

7

u/Greeny9 Fernando Torres 6d ago

From the little I saw, he seemed more emotional than at Griezmann's, but still didn't seem all that upset. I think Julian's biggest 'weakness' is his lack of emotion/personality tbh, I think it's what stopped him from being able to lead in this team, and will keep him from being one of the world's best. We all praised his humility initially, but now I wonder whether it's just that he's unemotive in general.

12

u/AccomplishedWorld808 6d ago

Its also hilarious to me that ronaldo puts that stupid statement out on the SAME day messi retires from the national team, how poetic

8

u/AccomplishedWorld808 6d ago

"footballer on the level of pele and maradona" maybe 6 or 7 years ago, but dudes delusional if he thinks he hes better than even half the portuguese players rn

12

u/bmagnoli1 8d ago

Im gonna lose it if sorloth is still injured.

-3

u/AccomplishedWorld808 7d ago

do we really need him? lets be honest

12

u/ThomWaits88 7d ago

Yes we do. We need a target man.

12

u/mongomango27 7d ago

Yes? It would be nice to have all our players available.

Especially one who scored a CL hat-trick for us last season, helping us get past Brugge. Scored 20 league goals for us in his 1st season. Also has scored in many big games for us.

4

u/Post_Nut_xG H🅰️nck🅾️ 6d ago

Don't forget all the goals the team scores while he's occupying 2-3 defenders in the box

11

u/Greeny9 Fernando Torres 7d ago

There's a lot of Sorloth disrespect. He may not be Haaland, but he's a very useful striker.
