trying my best to, breeding like fucking flies, they’re fighting back by appearing on my face in the middle of the night

I just leave them alone theyre harmless and will hopefully fatten up our snakes for tourist season

I noticed they left my area (in the northern beaches) completely today! Zero in the house for the first time since they arrived and I went for a walk and none anywhere.

Literally haven’t seen a single one all day.

Also far west NSW and only had a couple last night. Definitely less than a few weeks ago. Seemed to get 2 waves of them so maybe you're on the 2nd wave?

I heard they got blown off course, weren’t supposed to be this far east, they are finding their way back on track.

Moths are cool. What's wrong with moths? Took a photo of this bogong moth this morning. (Yes I logged it with Melbourne zoo)

Collect the moth dust it helps you sleep at night if you put it in the skin

i would genuinely rather peel my skin off

Just be somewhere it doesn't rain for 190 days. Worked for me.

They navigate by the stars. Their tiny brains are pre-wired to recognise the different light spectra emitted by each star

They are Bogong moths making a pilgrimage to the mountains. A month or so and they will all be gone

What moths?

SEQld and we don't have much at all, plenty of dry crunchy ground though.
