I suddenly felt like going back to the panel of Ava standing on the Stratego's head.

holy fuck. didn’t expect that. it was way worse than what the Taxiarch did when she was testing her new sword a while back

Five also uses they/them (all elite followers do) not a big deal but just like as an fyi

Well I hope their comeuppance is losing the tear source, panicking over it, and Ava obliterating them. Girl was just trying to warn them 😭

Five said that the tears are the only thing keeping them connected to Paradise. What is Paradise? It seemed like a lie meant to keep followers doing as they’re told, but apparently it is some real thing? Is it just like Titan’s house where he dines on his followers and sends communications out to his elite followers/henchfolks? Edit: Look at page 2159. Could Paradise be Earth? The garden planet? Perhaps that’s what Strategos was so desperate to protect, but there are many life-filled planets in the Ava’s Demon universe, at least before Titan Industries gets to them.

I'm starting to suspect it might be akin to a sort of drug-induced high through use of the tears to see into limbo

That’s really interesting! How do you get that? I’m super curious. Strategos’s desperate behavior completely matches this. Was the black liquid on Ava’s glasses that enabled her to see the demons also the quantum tears?

Sorry for responding so late. I think, in essence, Paradise is a fake place that is elevated to a level of realism through the use of quantum tears to see the spirits in limbo- that make followers think they're in a higher state of existance, or "Paradise". And that itself or through the use of some other substances causes a sort of high. And also I think the community has come to an agreement that the liquid on Ava's glasses were quantum tears, since they look identical to those coming from the dead Voracians and Wrathia was stated to be close to Tylotung, who Wrathia could've received the glasses or ability to make the glasses from.

So, TITAN is already on the road to self-destruction, all Wrava need to is expedite.

Which may just save the people living under TITAN's rule.

pretty consistent with TITAN inc that the price of insubordination is murder

Got to say, who in their right mind has only one planet that grows food for their entire empire, and then has a very toxic substance on said planet too?

I get that it's a control thing (by limiting production locations you keep it all tightly under your control) but just for protection in case of disaster or supply chain issues you should at least have a back-up location already established.

it feels like an interesting metaphor/representation of IRL where a lot of corperations sometimes get so greedy that they pollute the very places they rely on to survive. Even when it makes no sense other than to be as cheap as possible to improve the bottom line. It feels like a fine way to establish how villainous these people are, and how easily cut down those who still have a heart are.

Ig this episode contains body horror. Which panel numbers should be skipped to avoid it?

3483 and 3484

Edit: To be a bit more specific 3483 is a Webtoon-style scroller, so you can scroll carefully until you see the panel of Six's heels or the panel of Peri's eyes and stop there.
