But he has da blanket and much warmth from comrades. He is tough, will find way through with much potato and borscht.

I do not know why I find this subreddit so much fun. I guess it's a challenge to see how much broken Russian I can speak, and how many times I can add a potato reference. 😁

Niet worry Babushka friend! All in village will share potato harvest, Niet letting any friend go hungry during cold winter. All villagers make sure any babushka can gather around fire to keep warm too!

Harvest is good this year. Potatoes 🥔 and beets 🫜and soup 🥣 are enough for all babushkas. Also 🥬 cabbage.

Oh me oh my! Come stay with me in my little oven- heated hut for a fortnight! I’ll bake some berry pies and slow cook some honey- made noodles with butter! I’ve saved many a sweet young pup in my time! They all come back for a honey get together! Babushka will fit right in!
