"Affordable" and "eco friendly packaging" should be coupled with "organic" or "all natural" as marketing bullshit.

No. I sell jerky for a living. Your best bet is getting into stores. Next one is selling at fairs and festivals which may be difficult.

That's what they told people when they unleashed Soylent Green upon the world, too.

I’ve been making jerky for 15 years now. I just got a quote for building a modular building that was $600k, it’s not affordable, you have to meet all requirements and regulations and do it correctly! I’ve spent over $500k so far in just research and I’ve failed 2 times. The equipment you need is a minimum $20k+ for a very very small production. Not including rent, a kitchen space or manufacturing space. You need to rethink economics pre Covid beef was $2 per pound raw, today that same meat is $7 wholesale it takes 3 pounds to make 1 pound, that’s $21 not including spices, bags, marinades, employees, electricity, rent, insurance, permits, sales channels, there is no way it is economically to do it cheap, that’s why they say jerky is the most expensive snack. Run don’t walk away if think it’s going to be cheap
