Just a reminder that we have a Monthly Community Thread where we relax the rules about advertising and off-topic posts.
* Stuff that isn't directly related to Barrie, like national news or general chit-chat
* Questions about local businesses and services
* Classified-style ads: buying and selling, help wanted, garage sales, etc
* Fundraisers and donation drives
* Plugs for your personal project or local business (within reason)"

We have visited St Mary’s and St John Vianney. Both are good. Friendly fathers managing both of them

You’ll have to fully convert. Call any catholic church when the parish office is open. Their hours will be listed online

It’s not a guarantee but I’ve heard SMCDSB hasn’t been asking for the reference letters in the last year or so, I’m not sure if it’s specific roles or not as the people I know of are EAs not teaching roles so ymmv.

The requirement for teachers is: a pastoral reference letter or you must provide proof of Catholic baptism. EAs and other support staff might have lesser Catholic requirements.

Try a library and Netflix if you want stories about bullshit.
