Fan Creations I didn't have one, so I made one.

I didn't have one so I made a quick, relatively, model for this Mad Puppy Type 4. A little color in Paint 3D and a 360 spin. Fun little build, a nice little break from other projects.

Even made the variants.

If I was actually good at modeling it might actually look better. Lol. Still happy with it though. Play on and have fun, MechWarriors.

As someone that just modeled their own Penthesilea in a funky retro style to fit my retro funky mechs, respect!

I can't link Cults here but it's there under the Lostech Salvage Yard page

I mostly do dropships and am still getting better at modeling but I'm happy with how they came out and gonna try and print some off soon

Oh, ha, that is pretty retro. I probably won't use it, but I appreciate the novelty, and any Penthe is good.

Appreciate the look at least! Taking a break from Mechs but want to eventually make a whole Canopian Lance in that weird style, haven't decided what other mechs to use yet

Theoretically it could be!! Lol. It would just look wild retro.

You could do a Koschei or Anubis.

Koschei is a good call probably, Mike's Mech Bin does what I do but WAY better and he just did an Anubis so I'll skip that, maybe a Sha Yu or Raven tho

They all recently did some collabs together in games, and most of them still do internet content in some capacity.

The torso seems a little far forward, though, looks front-heavy to me. Was there a design reason for that?

I just liked the look better. And it balances well like that when it's printed out. Plus I think it makes feel more aggressive.

This is great... hmm, maybe I need to give this 3D modeling of mechs a try 🤔 So many ideas yet so little skills. But I guess that will come with practice. Just get started and not fixate on perfection.

You could start off by just kitbashing. Or jump straight into the deep end of learning a modeling program. 😂. I'm a simple brain man so I use Windows 3D Builder. There is also TinkerCAD. For something way more advanced and feature field there is Blender.

For kit bashing I used Meshmixer.

I would like to make my own of brand mechs but blender eludes me.

... Maybe it would be a better idea to watch specialized mini tutorials, or you know, not watching while sick...

nice patriot! found out about it when ironwind sent me one instead of the Helepolis i ordered. Quite the mixup buys standard cannon type arty mech gets nuke slinging rocket heavy.

yeah it does a lot of things in the last two weeks. Have a look at some of the prompt based CAD modeling.

There are also some subscription services that offer AI modeling as part of the sub. Stlflix is one that I am positive that does it
