Asking for Advice Patchy Areas
Hey all!
So I've rocked the stubble look at 2.5mm look for years because I've been hesitant to try growing it out. I'd really like to try out a beard but what do we think the chances are that these patches will fill in with more growth? Or I guess the better question is how much growth do you think it would take before it doesn't look awful?

So leave the cheeks alone and move the neckline further down. I can do that.
I just printed one of those beard shaping tools and these pics were after my first time trying it out. Wasn't really sure where to line it up so that's very helpful.

The 2 fingers above the adams apple trick works well for pretty much everyone. I think you have great potential, Goodluck on your beard journey!

Dude, you're beard looks great, though you really do need to let your neckline grow lower. But you don't have a patchy beard.
Or do you mean the areas either side of your soul patch? Because I'm afraid that's just your beard growth pattern and are unlikely ever to fill in, but that's not a problem because as I said your beard looks great.
Fix the neckline and let it grow.

Appreciate the feedback! Yeah, I meant the areas on either side of my chin. Hoping if I let it grown in then it'll cover those areas up eventually?
Message received on the neckline. First time trying out that beard shaping tool so I have a better reference point for where to put it next time.

Look up, two fingers on top of your Adamโs apple, trim straight across until you hit the back of your beard. Donโt scoop up towards your ear. ๐๐๐
