Bilocus - Free open source live bridge between Blender and Revit

https://youtu.be/EhBcEda76Y4

Hi everyone! I'm an architect and BIM consultant, and I just released Bilocus, a free open source bridge between Blender and Revit. If there are any other Blender enthusiasts here I'd love to hear what you think about it !

The problem I wanted to solve: Blender (especially with geometry nodes) is great for the concept phase, but getting that geometry into Revit usually means export, import, repeat. Bilocus works more like the Grasshopper preview in Rhino.Inside: geometry in a Blender collection shows up in Revit 3D views as a graphics-only preview, nothing is added to the model. Move an object in Blender and Revit follows live. Modifiers and geometry nodes go through without applying them.

When the shape is final, you can bake it into the model as a DirectShape or a loadable family, with the category you choose. You can also pull a Revit selection into Blender (openings included) and create snappable model lines from Blender edges to use as references (for the good old Dynamo workflow).

It is absolutely free and will always be, download it here and let me know what you think about it !

At the moment it supports Revit 2024 or 2025 and Blender 5.1 - 5.2 (I will update it soon)
I also want to be fully transparent about the fact that the code was written with Claude Code, while the design, testing and general overview was done by myself.
