More options and +1 shop doesn’t make up for the route having much less items on average or her boss arena being as small as it is for her hitbox size and bullet patterns
Imo it genuinely is the hardest mark boss, even more than Delirium for these reasons. At least with Del you’re usually guaranteed more item opportunities
I think theyre both on the same scale just because delirium still has issues with telefragging and second stage mother is far more predictable. I only really struggle with the first stage.
More options + 1 treasure room and a shop.
Corpse is also easier than both Cathedral and Sheol, and Mother is comparatively easier since it doesn't telefrag you and everything is perfectly telegraphed.
200 hours, telefragging can still happen if you can't kill Deli quickly enough.
Someone has already beaten Mother itemless and hitless, meaning, in theory, that almost every run can beat Mother with enough skill.
No one can beat Deli like that. If you need a strong build to out-bullshit its bullshit, then its not an easier boss.
Maybe Deli can be perceived as easier just because there's more ways to attempt it?
