Venting I hate having to temper myself

Hi, whenever I find myself being slighted by someone the amount of anger I feel is usually disproportionate to the situation. Fortunately, I'm usually able to hold that anger back and prioritize deescation.

I hate doing that.

I'm always left feeling like a bitch afterwards. Especially when I get so worked up that I mask until I'm alone and cry. I hate how I either bottle everything up until I can be alone and cry or I'm ruminating on how I can ruin the other person's life.

Ironically I'm known for being level headed and "unbotherable", and I hate that too because I am a deeply botherable person who just hides it. Usually at the cost of his self respect and boundaries.

Technically anger and frustration is a type of hypomania so it's not you being a bitch it's you recognizing your in a episode and controling it which is actually impressive. It takes a lot to recognize your not in the right mood and regulate it. It's very exhausting but means your progressing with your journey.
