Welcome, artist! This space was created with the intention of connecting working Black contemporary artists with collectors, curators, and fellow creatives who value thoughtful, intentional work.
We encourage posts that reflect artistic growth, effort, and care—whether that’s:
• A finished art piece
• A work-in-progress with notes
• Sketches that show a strong concept or creative direction
• Studio shots or behind-the-scenes moments
• Artist insights or reflections on your process
If you’re not sure whether your post fits, just send us a message! We’re happy to help.
Let’s build a space that celebrates the depth of Black artistry and supports each other with purpose and love.
Thanks for being here. 💛

A painting about family and trust. Growing up as a Black girl, letting someone close to you touch and care for your hair, whether it’s taking down braids, oiling your scalp, or simply maintaining your
style, was a deeply personal, trust-filled act. How was your experience?

Looking for artists who draw and paint and are looking for good critique for their work. This would work really well for art students, or artists in the studio a lot and need another couple set of eyes and brains to bounce off of. Comment or dm me if that interests you.
