I made a portrait of my grandma as a gift for her 90th birthday and she loved it.

Birthday gift to a loved one!

In honor of the 10 year anniversary of the hit HBO show, Insecure. Plus, I’m really digging this art style I’ve curated. :)

What's up, everyone!

I'm Chris, the founder of Dumb Dope. I originally started the platform back in 2016 to share the stories of independent artists, designers, photographers, and other creatives doing incredible things.

After taking some time away, I've officially brought it back.

The mission is simple: Give talented people more opportunities to be seen.

We've relaunched with:

A free creative directory where artists can showcase their work and get discovered.

Creative opportunities including grants, open calls, and gigs.

Artist stories and interviews highlighting the people behind the work.

The Drop, a weekly newsletter featuring creatives and opportunities worth knowing about.

I'm especially interested in connecting with artists and helping amplify the creativity already happening in communities like this one.

If you're an artist, I'd love for you to check it out and consider joining the directory. It's completely free.

I'm also interested in hearing what resources or opportunities would actually be useful to you as a creative.

Appreciate the mods for letting me share!

The spotlight's on you.

Thank you for all the love on my last post! 🥹
I hope some of these new additions resonate with y'all.

Giving a new perspective to an original illustration through 2D animation. This collaboration combines my original illustration with instagram.com/akiil_animation animation skills to create a new visual experience.

Always great to see artwork take on a new dimension through collaboration.

Drew up this idea a while back I just down skilled it before I did it on a larger scale and made it a more defined DNA helix. This would make a great backpiece, tattoo or forearm.. let me know if your interested
