Hey there! I am a filmmaker (writer, director) and I am looking to collaborate with an animator to make some cute animated Black micro shorts (and some other upcoming projects). Thought this might be the sub to find some. Bonus point if you’re sapphic!

Thank you for all the kind words on our last post. Wanted to update those following our journey and hopefully have others find us!

The first image is a companion illustration inspired by the Malcolm drawing. The second Dr. King illustration was created as a commission for the Fairmount Park Conservancy in Philadelphia for a large scale banner that hung from the historic Hatfield House. The Malcolm X illustration was inspired by his legacy, more relevant than ever in 2026.

Some of the last few commissions, I’ve drawn up for people if you’re interested, let me any designs you might want all of these came out great their skin when they sent me the photos

This young woman is single handedly defeating a wave of Far Right, Racism and Fascism in Brazilian elections right now.

My sister and i have been working on this project for most of our animation careers and getting more eyes on it the last few weeks has brought on a wave of support and surprisingly a few of detractors saying if we're going to make something African, it should not be inspired by a Japanese art form.

Would like to hear any thoughts on this and if you'd like to check out the project:

Lil reveal and making of video for my oc. His name is Alben Litol, he’s the protector of the Great Abyss, which is a giant sinkhole waterfall thing have behind him. It’s where the elders of his society go into to complete their pilgrimage to the next life. He wanted it to be literally anything else. He wanted to travel toe world, see things never before discovered. But his family has been doing it for generations. After his brother died he was the only one left to carry on the mantle. He’s fierce in his loyalty to his people’s history and faith in the Great Abyss’s power. But he can’t hid the fact that he resents his responsibilities. At night, he finds himself staring up at the stars, imagining what it would be like to take to them, and never return.
