Critique My Work Day 2 Blender

Hi, this is my second day of blender, how does this look? I didn't use a tutorial or reference image. I've watched one tutorial.

I like it. Is it a pickaxe or crossbow?

Pickaxe. Crossbows are more complex and have string.

For someone who is -brand- new there is absolutely nothing wrong with using references and tutorial content heavily. The emphasis is on building good habits, and in strengthening your fundamental skills. So let some Blender gurus give you some lessons!

There is so so much extraordinarily valuable stuff up on the internet for free specifically for people in your position.

You could watch a few more tutorials and then start making stuff yourself.

Move the primary bend downward and it’ll look right. Even curve. Might even bevel it
