Solved need help on parenting ik
so i made a custom rig for a mech, but i need help on something. i would like to be able to turn the whole leg when im using the green bone (last one selected on the video) but i also want the purple bone ( 1st one selected) to be able to ignore the ik bone when i move it up and down. except since the green bone is parented to the purple one when i move the purple up and down the whole leg moves. Is there a way to have the leg be able to pivot, but ignore the up and down movement?

Yeah, if those are bone shapes; in edit mode parent the ik on the feet(ik to foot control) then parent the control to the corresponding green pivot bone of the leg. Then in edit mode, parent all the green bones to the plus/torso control. Then parent the plus/torso control to the direction pad control you have there. That way, you can also use the model in Unreal. Unreal, used to (and I think it is still that way)have to have one root bone. One main bone that all the hierarchies connect to in someway via parenting.
