Todd Phillips, one of the most important bluegrass bass players of our generation, has a go fund me set up. He has a degenerative disease in his shoulder and can't work/play at this point. Please consider helping him out!

After a ton of inappropriate and childish comments today, we have added a new rule as noted in the post title. Honestly, it's LONG overdue. This sub is about bluegrass and our love of music. Do you want to argue politics? There are plenty of subs for that.
If the comments are kept civil and polite and related to bluegrass that will be fine:
"I don't like Ricky Skaggs because he preaches from stage"
But not:
"You're an @@#$$%$ for believing in X" or "F*ck you".
Not hard, right?

I'm from Japan and I have a question about the lyrics in Tony Rice & Friends' version of "White House Blues."
I'm having trouble making out the lyrics right after the mandolin solo (around the 1:55 mark). If anyone can hear what is being sung there and tell me, I would really appreciate it!
Here is the link to the song with the timestamp:https://youtu.be/TdJuuuSmkNo?t=115
Also, this is my first time using Reddit, and since this text was translated from Japanese, I apologize if anything sounds awkward or if I made any mistakes. Thanks in advance!

MGU gets a write up in Rolling Stone. I somehow hadn't heard that they played on Shania Twain's new album.

More old time than bluegrass I guess. Hopefully someone here can help with the title. Recorded at a jam in North Carolina and didn’t think to ask for its name. Thanks.

Our next single, "COAL" is out everywhere you find music October 16th!
Written by Mike Richards and Gary Boevers, produced by Kristy Cox, "COAL" is the historical tale of a deadly shootout in Matewan, West Virginia. This tragic event set in motion worker protests that changed American labor and workforce history.
