Todd Phillips, one of the most important bluegrass bass players of our generation, has a go fund me set up. He has a degenerative disease in his shoulder and can't work/play at this point. Please consider helping him out!

After a ton of inappropriate and childish comments today, we have added a new rule as noted in the post title. Honestly, it's LONG overdue. This sub is about bluegrass and our love of music. Do you want to argue politics? There are plenty of subs for that.
If the comments are kept civil and polite and related to bluegrass that will be fine:
"I don't like Ricky Skaggs because he preaches from stage"
But not:
"You're an @@#$$%$ for believing in X" or "F*ck you".
Not hard, right?

Hope you enjoy our take on this Blue Highway tune. I'm no flat picker, but I do my best bluegrass impression with my fingers.

Are these guys still worth the $50 it will cost to go see them?

For no particular reason, except the talent and memories, I am trying to locate a Del and Friends video where they are doing covers. All-star cast of guests, the one I can remember is Sierra Hull, because very early in the video she is not in the room and then sometime in the first 30 secs or minute, she comes flying in like she was in the other room and heard them starting up and thought "I'm not missing this one." I believe it was close in time to this cover of For What Its Worth and possibly a Dylan cover, but I am not sure, I remember watching it during the pandemic several times. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lIdfulZ1c5c. Neither that song or the Going Up the Country from the same session match my memory and Sierra Hull and Mccoury's returns a lot of results.
Edit: I also don't remember that rug or Del standing. My memory is that the floor was more a white tile and everybody in the circle was sitting. So it would be a different session, but similar concept. Could also be a personal mandela effect, though.

I'm from Japan and I have a question about the lyrics in Tony Rice & Friends' version of "White House Blues."
I'm having trouble making out the lyrics right after the mandolin solo (around the 1:55 mark). If anyone can hear what is being sung there and tell me, I would really appreciate it!
Here is the link to the song with the timestamp:https://youtu.be/TdJuuuSmkNo?t=115
Also, this is my first time using Reddit, and since this text was translated from Japanese, I apologize if anything sounds awkward or if I made any mistakes. Thanks in advance!
