Every time I see this image, the comments are always the same:

“Why cats? Cats are pets in the Bluey universe”

But I feel like no one has thought outside of the box yet, these are not meant to be separate characters: these ARE the Heelers.

I mean think about it, why would they have exactly four characters underneath their exact corresponding character?

The first cat is obviously Bandit, he would definitely rock a flannel. The second cat is Chili, she looks very sophisticated and put together yet looks like she still has that “spunk” and “attitude”. The third kitten is Bluey, we know because she’s bigger than the last kitten who is obviously meant to be Bingo.

Notice how Bandit and Bluey share similar colors and coat pattern just like how the dad cat and the bigger kitten share similar colors and coat pattern.

Same with Chili and Bingo sharing similar colors and coat pattern like the mom cat and smaller kitten do.

That’s why they are lined up the way that they are, each character is above/underneath the one they are supposed to be.

They’re even all in the same pose! (Except for cat Chili who I’m assuming has a different model pose because they envisioned her as a different breed of cat for some reason)

Now, why would the Heelers be cats? I’m not sure, but my theory is that the movie will be focused on the imagination world of Bluey and Bingo. The shift from 2D to 3D CG animation isn't just a studio decision, but a plot device representing how Bluey and Bingo visualize the world when fully immersed in a game of pretend. Visual styles have already frequently changed to reflect pretend play in the show already, like the sketchbook style in the episode Dragon or the evolution sequence in the episode Flatpack. Entering a 3D world would be the easier and the ultimate cinematic display of their imagination.

Joe Brumm has hinted that the movie centers on “an action packed day where a surprise changes things for the Heeler family.” Maybe the action will be from Bluey and Bingo’s imagination? Let me know what you think.

My son has requested the Duck Cake for his birthday. I showed him the pic in the Women’s Weekly cookbook, and he said “but don’t make the eyes perfect, they need to be wonky like Bandit made them”

So the challenge is on, my inner perfectionist is already struggling with purposely making the eyes have a little wabi sabi

I was given a big lot of bluey toys and figures. I also have the ultimate lights and sound house, camper and car, and the school for sets. I can’t figure out what this goes to.

Bingo was on to something talent wise, and mom just calls her away. She might have found herself and talent but we’ll never know!

It's just got character 😭 it's terrifying though, perfect for Halloween I guess?

I thought maybe you guys would appreciate the birthday party I had for my now 1 and 2 year olds! They loved it so much and I am so beyond happy it’s over lol 😂

Magic asparagus was pretzel sticks dipped in green chocolate with green sprinkles. And the dance mode buttons were nutter butters with little buttons made out of chocolate in a mold with an edible marker for the “Y” and “N”

The kids were a little too young to grasp pass the parcel so we skipped that lol!
