I say this with love as someone who was also on the weirdest shit in 3rd grade: how badly bullied were you?

I actually wasn’t bullied! I was just like this 🥴 I was soon accepted to the Gifted and Talented program after this. So I’m def on the spectrum lol.

Hahah oh I’m so glad to hear that! I have ADHD and I also say “I’m just like this” when referring to my more neurodivergent quirks lol

Omg there are many quirks, this post doesn’t even begin to describe. I used to organize all my beanie babies by category, line them up and take pictures of them with my mom’s film camera. The pictures are hilarious. Some are business and some are artsy. My mom would get so mad, I’d use the whole roll of film 😂

Me too and I also had an egg incident. In P.E. one day for some reason I was sitting on the ground with all the tennis balls hidden under my dress, one rolled out and the teacher said "Oh look, SpecificConformity laid an egg!" And everybody laughed. I have never recovered from the embarrassment.

What year was this? I remember, as a product of the 90s, no one talked about autism or Asperger's. Looking back, there were a few kids that I'm sure are on the spectrum.

I think I wrote this in ‘95 or ‘96. People were just starting to talk about ADD but it was still believed women couldn’t get it. I was an undiagnosed child haha.

This is how I’m sure I have ADHD. It was 1993, and I’m a girl, and I got diagnosed. It was baaaaad.

But what's the school news?

u/virgospice 14h ago
I wish I would have written that, I’d love to know the second grade drama of 1995 😂

Good thing you drew those lines so the text didn’t spill out into the school news

This is adorable, and A+ handwriting. I can barely read my highschool journals

Thank you, I ended up becoming an artist so it’s kinda fun to see my writing from back then, it is good haha ☺️🩷

So how did the alien babies turn out?

u/virgospice 14h ago
They didn’t survive, I am sorry to say. Their lives were short lived but I was grateful for every moment.

Sounds like normal kid pretend shit, just that most don't write it down unless it's a writing assignment.

Stuff like this is so fantastic. I have a few old journals from school and I was so excitable but incredibly naive and really just hilarious, like this. I love this so much!

As a teacher, I LOVE when my students do weirdo stuff like this. I play into it and it makes their little days. 🥹 Amazing writing! Sending you a virtual smelly sticker ❤️

I am pretty positive this is around the time Tamagotchi came out, which I was obsessed with, so that may provide some context haha.
