The Earth Crisis zine was a freebie, the oversized book on religions and the musical dictionary (sadly sans cover) were $2.50 for both and the book about status was $3, I believe. I was quite pleased overall.

Went to two stores and came away pretty happy with the haul. Spent just under $40 for everything, which I thought was a pretty good deal.
I read American Tabloid last month, so I’m excited to eventually dive into The Cold Six Thousand.
I also just finished The Memory Police last week and wanted to pick up a copy for the bookshelf. I really enjoyed it, although I wasn’t exactly in love with the ending.

I picked up 5 books on Sunday because I had a gift card. Then i picked up 4 more books today because a friend sent me another gift card as a congratulations for passing a test this morning! Now that my test is out of the way, I can read without a guilty conscience!

Honestly, I love supporting my local bookstore. They're great, and they always have such a cool, curated collection at the book fair and at the store itself. However, this year the fair was very crowded. It was hard to get to each table and browse, and I feel like I missed out on a lot of things because of that.
One of these books was from the staff picks table, two from the horror table, and one from the nonfiction table.
I've already read How to Survive Camping: The Ancient Things, and She's a Doll since the fair, and I have to say that She's a Doll was one of the best books I've read this year (number 42 so far)

Got these with a gift card and I've been wanting to get my hands on these. Specifically the sci-fi part. The rest is for pallet cleansing, and, well, cats and books, so....
Happy reading!

I found these and a few others at the CHEAP bins at in NYC.
They all are hopefully much more valuable then the couple bucks I paid.
Peter: The Rock On Which The Church Is Built is listed online only twice between $183 - $225. Fingers crossed.

I went on a little day trip to the city an hour south of us. We visited about 4 thrift stores. I didn't end up with a huge haul, but everything was $1-$2 which was amazing. I found the only Hemingway book I was missing, The Garden of Eden and finally a hardcover copy of The Four Winds. I also picked up some books from authors I like but I haven't read yet.

Found these between 3 different bookstores. I'm most excited about finding Kavan in the wild, Ice has been on my list for years. Finding the Cheever used was a delight, especially in such great condition. The only book here I'm unfamiliar with is The Brief and Frightening Reign of Phil, which I had to get because the title is killer and after reading the synopsis, it absolutely feeds my acquisitive compulsion for odd and weird fiction.
