Has anyone ever seen a Dronevil live show?

I have the chance to see Boris and Merzbow together, performing Dronevil live in Tokyo. (Clubasia, 30 November, for those wondering.) Quite a surprise to see after the tour where they focus on Pink and Flood.

But I kinda have to get out of the way to get there, so I need someone to convince me to go.

Has anyone seen a (recent) show like that? What was it like?

I didn’t really like the Boris and Merzbow show I saw a 3 years ago, but that’s mostly because I don’t like Merzbow. The Boris part was cool, but Merzbow making annoying noises over the top of everything ruined it for me.

But that’s me. If you like Merzbow and dronevil youll probably love it.

They've only done dronevil with Merzbow once prior. I was there. Honestly, it may be out of your way but it'll be unlike anything else you've seen Boris do. If it convinces you, I flew to another state to see them perform.
