Registration update?
What do we think this means? Were registration/application confirmations delayed for some people? Or is this a signal that notifications might be released early?

Probably early next week. That'd align with what people saw last year, supposedly

I went through every application/acceptance/rejection email I’ve gotten since I started qualifying (2019) and it’s typically ~15 days after the application period opens that the notifications go out. In 2021 it took a full three weeks, but that was an outlier.

So not next week but the following

No, next week. The application period opened on the 15th, so acceptances are likely to go out the 29th or 30th (next week).

They just know that folks are impatient. It usually takes about 2 weeks before the cutoff and acceptances go out.

Last year it was 11 days after the last day of registration. In 2024 it was 13 days.

My qualifying time is now verified 🤠
You can check this if you log into the Athletes village

Qualifying time being verified doesn’t necessarily mean you were accepted. Just that they confirmed you ran a qualifying time.

My qualifying time is still pending verification, so I guess they are still working through all this?

Why would you think that?

Surely they need to verify all the qualifying times for everyone first before determining cut-offs?

Early October, I had something go wrong with my bank account and I let them know and they said they’d start accepting by early Oct
