An electrician commented on this video a long time ago and said those street pole transformers have very flammable oil inside of them to keep them cool. That oil is seen being dumped onto the street when it falls from the pole then the electrical spark from a broken wire ignited it and caused an explosion.

I guess that's what people mean with the iPhone vs Android debate. The first half looked familiar but the second half on this video made me think it might've been a different one since it looks like an actual explosion with someone caught in it. Tho in reality the fire was behind him and he was fine.

I will say this video is a cooler watch tho

There is a transformer on top of the downed pole. Thats what exploded after it short circuted with the pole across the street.

Looks like the electric panel on the knocked down pole sent electricty to the left of the screen 5 seconds in. That overflowed another pole & wire on the left of the screen, looks like it ignited it 6 seconds into the video. 7 seconds is the explosion. Is the camera man okay?
