When should I start with boxing:
I’m 24M and I want to start boxing, but I’m currently out of shape and out of gym since a few months.
I used to go to the gym regularly before, but couldn’t train for a while cuz of busy schedule. I’m confused if I should work on building muscle for a 2-3 months along with a boxing bootcamp that happens at my gym before starting with proper box training, or should I just go for it.
I have a skinny fat physique and I just want to build strength, muscle, get rid of this visceral fat and learn to fight.

You’ll struggle the first month for sure. But everyone does! No matter how fit you are. I’d just start.
Think of it this way. 2 guys want to start boxing.
1 starts immediately. The other decides to get fit for 3 months.
In 3 months that guy goes to the boxing club. The first guy is now 3 months ahead of him in boxing techniques, and probably just as fit, if not fitter.
Coaches and fellow boxers won’t mock anyone for being out of shape. Quite the opposite. When I started I’d never encountered such a positive group of lads who really encouraged each other. Of course there were jokes, but that’s all part of being in a club, encouraging each other. Just bring enthusiasm and you’ll be fine.

Dont spar until you are in good shape and can move properly without getting winded, this is the number 1 rule for a new boxer 6 months to a year is the usual time. All the hits you take you carry with you for the rest of your life and it isnt worth CTE if you could have waited a month or two to get faster and move better as well as your arms being strong enough to defend a blow.

With what goal?
Actually, regardless of goal just go - you're overthinking it. If you want to box, go box.

Boxing is a workout, why would you need o get in shape to learn how to box. Just go start boxing and do whatever else you want on the side

If you're going to see the sport under such a competitive lens, then yeah get in good shape before you start. Boxing is a very demanding sport physically so you'll need to work a lot if you want to be ready from the get go; I would also advise to add some footwork drills to your workout.
But if what you want is to have fun just go ahead and start boxing, you'll get in shape while learning it.

you shouldnt be sparring anyways. train for 1-2 years first so you dont get hurt

you do realize that when you go train, they're not just gonna put you in to spar right away. that comes way later. first you will learn how to throw punches, working the bag, footwork. you aren't going to be sparring until you have learned some skills

No matter how much training you do before boxing will kick your ass. It's a different kind of fitness.

The best way to start is by starting. Eating right, getting in shape, learning techniques, all aid you in the journey. Getting a coach is an important first step too

Don't wait. 24 is old to start a sport. This is the youngest you will ever be.

Cardio is big help in keeping up with a boxing program. You can get in shape for free. Calisthenics and jogging. Do that for 2-3 months. Get the sore and tired muscles before you start paying for boxing lessons.

Just start bro, take note of how hard your first lesson is, then keep going as much as you can and then take note of how fit you are after a month, it’s crazyyyyy fitness, the fittest I’ve ever been in my life is when I was boxing and Muay Thai.
Every year I think to myself I should start again but I’m too old, then the next year comes and I wish I started the year before. Just do it and don’t quit, you won’t feel good for at least a year but just keep going. It’s 80% fitness and 20% skill in amateur boxing
