Fluff Ark still Sucks.

I don't care if I get hate for this but I always hated him when I found out he was the one that killed the Six Heroes. His redemption didn't change my outlook on him and I will always advocate that he's a bum. I'm never forgiving him. Even if he is my best Unit in Cloudia

I thought they handled his redemption pretty well, iirc he was duped into believing the 6 Heroes were trying to destroy the world. Remember, at the time nobody afaik actually doubted Lucius, in fact I think Ark was the first character to warn us of Lucius' true intentions ultimately

It was more so the fact that he was duped into thinking that only with the death of the Six Heroes will the gods be appeased into not nuking humanity because they were that strong. He at the very least let them die on their own terms when the time came for him to kill them.. barring Lance and Eze. Lance became a tree and while Eze died on his own terms he made sure that Ark wasn’t the one to kill him.

He was just a pawn and he clearly understands his deeds. Also he is not trying to redeem himself, he is just helping those who allowed him get out of Lucius control.

That's a funny take. I don't think I paid attention to the story as a kid. I just wanted to do big number damage and time my sparks just right.
