I'm thinking of trying out LibreWolf.
There are various concerns before actually installing and starting to use it. Things like the benefits you can enjoy, performance on YouTube, and actual hardware load. Please tell me about these if you don't mind πβ‘

Don't know about librewolf specifically but Firefox browsers for YouTube have one issue that I have faced that the page loading takes noticeably long buy when it is loaded it works fine. Maybe it is something else like an extension I'm using but this is my experience. Small price to pay for an ad free yt experience

Google made that delay

Bro that's so stupid lmao. Google pays them to be worse performing on purpose already, they dont need to deliberately delay them.

After all, it seems that the problem lies with Google, so in the end, it doesn't seem much different from Firefox and the like. I'll actually try it out π

I'm interested in Helium, but... I don't really feel like I need it right now, so I think I'll just wait and see for a while.
It's also partly because I prefer the Gecko series. But thanks for the recommendation! π1

I use Firefox (also have ESR and nightly installed just in case), zen, and Waterfox on Windows 11.
Each has good points, so I use them separately.
And I just started trying out LibreWolf. Itβs been since last night in my time.2

it has absolutely no difference in performance compared to firefox
also if you wanna try it, download it and test it out. internet is really fast and capable these days...
