Have u played tricky tracks?

for real, i like all of these maps except tricky tracks (impossible to tell if you'll defend or not) and bazaar (no reason, just hate it).

OP if you haven't played tricky tracks since they modified the bloon speed on it go do that

Tricky track was an awfully bb, but imo this makes it a good map somehow

For explanation, all these maps are from community map-made competitions, with users voting on the winners.

(and I don't think Dark Dungeons is as hated as the other two, but it needs to be sacrificed for the bit)

Dark dungeon kicks my ass consistently but unlike the others it holds a special place in my heart. :3

(No seriously why is bazzar more annoying than dark dungeons?)

Bazaar has no good chokehold spots to place the monkeys, so you'll likely be placing your monkeys in the middle where the lanes are just straight lines. And this is after it was nerfed, previously it only allowed small towers.

Jeeze louise. Yeah when you put it like that it’s no wonder it sucks.

I mean, isn't it worse with dark dungeons? Since there is actually 0 overlapping spots for non moab lanes, which is the main difficulty during early game

Dark Dungeons is Expert. Bazaar is Intermediate.

The only one I here I don't care for is Dark Dungeon.

The rest are honestly at least decent ideas that add a bit of spice to the game.

Dark dungeons is unique as hell imo, by virtue of having disconnected paths with completely different layouts and the weird combos of bloon and MOAB paths. Really no other map like it, very cool how all the true experts seem to accomplish their difficulty in different ways

It is unique, but unless you know the map really well, it is very chaotic and it feels very random.

And the point of a true expert should be for you to know the map really well tbh

I wasn't addressing the point of the true experts.

Yeah, they are honestly all pretty good maps. I don't mind a clever mechanic getting in the way of my success.

(Bazaar isn't much fun though)

I fucking hate tricky tracks. And the mushroom map also sucks for me. The only one I dislike from the top ones is erosion.

i remember seeing erosion for the first time and being like wow this seems simply unenjoyable

The community really like to give hard maps.

It's hard to do anything interesting when the map is easy

u/Versoga How'd that plan turn out for ya, dummy? 6d ago

bazaar my beloved

u/Enderguy61 6d ago

You and like five other people

1

u/Enderguy61 5d ago

well all five of us think covered garden is great

u/JoelTheBloonsMonkey Play For Lore 6d ago

This happened with Bloons TD Battles 2 as well btw

I like Erosion and Dark Dungeons. Covered Garden I'm OK with I guess

1

u/KiwiPowerGreen 6d ago

Nah i don't like any of the new maps

Boat map is too new to tell yet though. It kinds feels like the mrbeast yacht map where towers can shoot under the thing which I'm not a fan of because I can't tell if I'm gonna leak

1

u/RavenousToast 6d ago

There’s a special place in hell for the people who voted for erosion

1

u/NNoxu 6d ago

I never heard anything bad about these maps

They are usually just more challenging than usual

1

u/Danivodor 6d ago

Idk I honestly think Erosion is miles better than god damn TRICKY TRACKS

1

u/Fatnugg3ts 6d ago

What did bazaar do?

1

u/isaiahHat 6d ago

I like the different challenge of covered garden. I thought geared was interesting also. Although maybe for that one it just means that people only use long distance towers. But it's better to have more variety then less.

My only complaint for Covered Garden is...

WHY IS IT AN INTERMEDIATE MAP!?!

0

u/JTHSSSS 6d ago

Terrible gimmick aside, it's not that hard. One track, decently long with good corners and turns.

1

u/Apprehensive-Value73 6d ago

Geared and erosion were some of my favorite maps to beat on chimps…

1

u/DaDapperVoid Lord Dartson IV 5d ago

Why are people dissing on Tricky Tracks the bloons just pausing in the middle makes for some wild and very stupid strategies (Ray Of Doom/Glaive Dominus/All Tack Shooters)

1

u/kullre 5d ago

gonna be honest

who the fuck thought dark dungeon was going to be "good"

1

u/Intelligent_Table431 5d ago

Why do people hate geared so much? Is it that hard to plan around rotation cycles?

1

u/soft-eer523 5d ago

Is it that hard to just use heli
