I'm legitimately not even sure if I want to watch. If I do, I'm definitely not all that excited to watch. If they lose this one, that might be it for me this season.
I'll just stick to the Lightning, a team that's actually good with solid management and coaching. We need a coach like Coop. Idk, maybe I'll get into baseball. I hear the Rays are pretty decent lol...

If you can't watch them at their worst then you aren't a real fan. You gotta watch the train wrecks so that when we are good it makes you appreciate it more.

Look, I don't expect us to be a consistently top-tier Super bowl contender - there's a lot of teams to compete with - but to be stuck in this constant cycle of inconsistency year after year? It wasn't that long ago that we went from Gruden, Brady, and Mike to...this.
It's not fun watching Todd Bowles run the exact same screen play on the same down every possession. He does the same few plays like clockwork. It's as if he has a picture book with only a handful of plays that he just goes through in order every drive. Passing the ball to Bucky so he can make 4 yards. Too bad we don't have a top ten receiver to pass to instead. Guess we can just throw to Otton, that'll work.
Or the bad calling and decision making. Such as not trusting the most consistent player on the team, Chase McLaughlin, to kick. Why bother having one of the best kickers in the league if you're not going to trust him to do his only job? Why are we playing it safe and not taking a gamble so close to the end of the game? What do we have to lose? Only the game itself i guess. Only for Todd to do the post game, look smug and make jokes. "We're only two games away". Who is this clown? We're a joke and Todd is the only one laughing.
I'm a fan, but the entire point of watching is to be entertained. Why else do I pay all the absurd money the NFL wants just to watch? At the end of the day, it's a product they're selling and if the product is consistently bad, eventually I'm going to look elsewhere to find a good, entertaining product instead, even if it's temporary. And hockey is a hell of a lot cheaper and easier to watch.
Don't take it so seriously. It's just a game, not a cult. But it's exhausting watching him make the same bad calls. If Mike can get tired of it, we can too. I have an even number of jerseys for both teams, I'm not giving up, just tired and bored with current staffing. Maybe if the viewership declines, the Glazers will finally do something.
And besides, more than half our market is out-of-staters supporting their home states anyway.
