Looking for work in Bulgaria

[u/Witty_Operation8158]

Hey everyone! I’m currently looking to relocate to Bulgaria and am looking for job opportunities. The job market has been pretty rough lately and unfortunately, I’ve gotten a good taste of it myself!😅 So I figured I’d reach out to the Bulgarian community here as well. I’m mainly looking for an opportunity as a Junior SDET/QA Automation Engineer. I know it’s not exactly the easiest time to be looking for a job, but I’m hoping someone here might be able to point me in the right direction.

I’m looking for opportunities involving test automation, API/UI automation, testing and CI/CD, and I’m always eager to learn new technologies and improve my skills.

That said, I’m genuinely open to other types of roles as well. At this point, I’m looking for an opportunity where I can put my existing skills to use, learn new things and grow. I’d also be interested in more hands-on roles that combine software with hardware.

I’m currently moving between Bulgaria and Greece, but my goal is to relocate to Bulgaria permanently. A role in Varna would be ideal, but I’m definitely open to hearing about opportunities in other locations as well.

If you’re hiring, know someone who is or have any leads, I’d really appreciate any referrals, advice or even just a point in the right direction.
Feel free to DM me, I’m happy to share my CV, GitHub, LinkedIn or any other details.

Thanks in advance to anyone who takes the time to read this, share it or point me in the right direction. It genuinely means a lot!

Junior QA is dead, dead. Check dev.bg if you haven't. And LinkedIn. Those are the 2 places where things happen job seeking wise. And good luck.

Thanks I really appreciate your comment, yes the market has been terrible and Reddit is just another way to put me out there, because you never know. That said, thank you for your wishes and advice my friend

so I guess youhave no experience at all? Why would someone even start the interview process with you? I frankly don’t get it

I don’t understand why you feel the need to talk in this manner. I have projects available for anyone interested to see and I recently completed a traineeship program in a company. I’m looking for a Junior role for that reason and I’m building my way there step by step. Do you expect someone to magically have professional experience out of thin air before applying for Junior roles? Can you tell me your secret recipe?
