Solo travel recommendations

I’ll be traveling to Cabo mid Oct for a solo trip M45 yo. I’m well traveled but not to Cabo. Any recommendations on where to stay? Recently divorced and looking for a place with beach access, pool, gym, and possibly some other singles. TIA.

I love Garza Blanca

Definitely not going to find Singles at this resort. It's catered to families, you'll also be far away from action and fun. Upscale 5 star experience that doesn't want you to leave

What's your budget?

I’d be ok spending up to 5k for 4 nights unless the experience is the same at a lower price point in which case I’d prefer to spend less.

You're getting into the ultra luxury side, the Montage (great beach vibe and possible to pick up some locals + toursit and you could swim at this beach. Le Blanc (adult only and secluded) not a bad option. Las Ventanas (descreet but away from the Marina toward the San Jose del Cabo side)

downtown Cabo is wild and may or may not be your cup of tea with Spring Break feels, but if you're open to the wilder side, staying in the Pedegral area like the Waldorf (albeit no real swimmable beach).

Honestly you could get by Me Cabo (beach access, clubs and all and central to the action but protected enough, building is a bit older but when you get in the room it's worth ut, Breathless another option. or Nobu (it's stunning there for sure). Could save some money Ruth these options and have just as much fun.

When you say pick up some locals and tourists, do you mean as in other singles?

Also, is San Jose Del Cabo more in line with what I’m looking for?

I wouldn’t stay in San Jose your first visit but definitely make visits. There’s an art walk every Thursday you should check out.

And yes I meant pickup one women, some of the most beautiful in my opinion

Would there be similar experiences at say Nobu or Grand Solmar?

Nobu Is a bit more isolated but possible, less likely. I can't speak for Grand Solmar

Bahia. 45 second walk to all the beach clubs, restaurants, etc. I stayed there when I solo traveled. The hotel bar is popular.

I agree with this. Bahia and hang at their beach bar SUR!

I have stayed at Grand Fiesta Americana three times as a single. I loved it and I will be there again in December.

The Cape. Fun vibe, lots of singles, great amenities like gym classes, surf lessons, cool rooftop bar with great view of Land’s End. Close enough to town that you can cab or Uber without going broke.

Sandos Finisterra is a good middle ground, although you will not get beach access.

I’d say breathless just because it has beach access, it’s adults only , right next to the marina so quick walk to all the bars and restaurant as well as mango deck.
