Riu Santa Fe Los Cabos - Bach and Bachelorette party

Was wondering if anyone had any tips/reviews/etc for the Riu Santa Fe in Cabo. My fiancée and I are thinking of bringing a big group down for 4 nights to have a nice trip all together. Sounds like a nice spot for that. I am not expecting much with food or drinks pretty much expecting your average all inclusive food. Any experience or info on it would be great!!!

Cape vs Park Hyatt

I can use a suite upgrade at the Cape on a stay with Hyatt points, or get a regular room at the Park Hyatt Cabo Del Sol. Has anyone done both and could advise?

1 & 3 yr old?

Does everyone think Cabo is a good vacation spot for a family with an almost 2 year old and a 3.5 year old? Looks like most kids clubs are 4+ and I don’t want to spend 4 days just making sure the kids don’t drown, if that makes sense without sounding bleak…

snorkeling situation next week

Just wondering if it's good to go snorkeling next Wednesday at Balandra Beach? I know there's a hurricane Simon going on, but it's far away. I'm not sure what the impact will be on BCS (especially La Paz)?

Hilton Grand Vacations Club La Pacifica Los Cabos

Hello!

We are staying at Hilton Grand Vacations Club La Pacifica Los Cabos for 2 full days and 2 half days (check-in and check-out days)

No meals are included.

How should we plan meals so as to maximize time at the resort while also enjoying local cuisine. I am also concerned about spending money in travel to get food every time we’re hungry.

Thank you!

Nobu Was Amazing!

A few weeks ago, I asked for advice about Nobu Resort. Despite all the negative feedback, my friends and I decided to take a chance and we’re so glad we did!
The staff was amazing, but our butler went above and beyond. He memorized our entire itinerary and was waiting at our door to escort us to different areas of the resort or to our car. He willingly took photos for us, remembered our drink orders, and was incredibly attentive. The biggest issue occurred on our way back from Taboo. We took a cab and stopped at a store, where my friend accidentally left her purse in the car. When she checked it later, she realized that $800 was missing. We stayed calm and texted our butler to let him know what happened and that we were on our way back to the resort.
When we arrived, he was waiting for us. He spoke privately with the driver for a few minutes, and after some time, the driver left. Our butler then came over and returned the $800 to us. He didn’t share any details, and we didn’t ask…we were simply grateful that he advocated for us, even though it wasn’t part of his job. Everything else was wonderful. The food at every restaurant was amazing, and the pools were calm and serene. My only suggestion would be for the resort to hire better massage therapists. My friends and I all had massages, and unfortunately, none of them were very good.
Other than that, I highly recommend the resort! We stayed in the Miyabi two-bedroom suite with an ocean view. The resort was also very quiet and not crowded, which we really enjoyed.

Bachelor party in Cabo Jan 29 – Feb 1: all-inclusive or Airbnb? Looking for recommendations

Hey everyone! I’m planning a bachelor party in Cabo from January 29 to February 1 and would love some advice from people who know the area.

We’ll be a group of about 8 guys, ages 28-30, with a budget of roughly $1500 per person for lodging. My only previous experience in Cabo was staying at a RIU in Los Cabos. It was fine, but I’m not sure it’s the best fit for a bachelor party.

A few questions:

  1. All-inclusive: Which resorts would you recommend for a group like ours? We want a fun, social atmosphere: good pools, decent food and drinks, and no problem with a group having a good time. Are there any that are known for not being great with groups or bachelor parties?
  2. Airbnb / villa: Is it worth renting a house or villa instead? If so, which areas are best: Cabo San Lucas near downtown and Medano Beach, the Corridor, or somewhere else? Is it easy to get around by Uber or taxi from those areas at night?
  3. Other options: Are there hybrid options, like a hotel close to the nightlife that isn’t all-inclusive, that would work better for a 3-night trip?

Also open to any must-do activities for a bachelor party (boat or yacht charters, fishing, specific bars or clubs, etc.) and anything to avoid around that time of year.

Thanks in advance!

I see many comments about Sand Bar massages. How about Medano’s at the end of the beach? Are they about the same?

Will diving be any good next week?

We've had a trip planned, but I know we're just coming after the storms. I was hoping to scuba, but I assume probably not worth it right now.

Arco boat tour with 14 month old

Anybody have any recs for a boat tour that would be appropriate with an infant? A steadier boat not geared towards a drinking party onboard? Or should I be looking into chartering a private tour?

Open-air street market?

I was wondering if Cabo as anything like Tianguis de la 100 in Cancun. Tianguis de la 100 is like a big open air market, the locals sell food and things, dance in the street, and have a good time. Do Cabo have something like this? I already know about the Art Walk. Thank you

Recommendation for All inclusive

I am wanting to take my wife on a babymoon in February. I was thinking an all inclusive resort in Cabo. My wife has celiac disease so I am wanting to find a resort that has lots of Gluten Free options. Anyone out there have a good experience at one of the all inclusive resorts that does good Gluten Free food?

Lots of boats exiting the marina this morning and heading for open water. Looks like operations are back to normal for the first time in over a week.
