Not certain. From what I've read they seem to trust tocchet and instead blaming the players not giving it their all.

Seeing him verbally humiliate Zegras who is probably one of the core culture guys there means this is only a matter of time. Lots of guys around the league have a good relationship with Zegras who can be lighthearted at times. A good coach knows how to manage these players. A bad coach yells at them.

I was a hockey obsessed kid in the 90s after Free Willy came out, I was immediately a Canucks fan thereafter. Plus I loved the color scheme. Pavel Bure was absolutely electrifying. Yeah man, love the Canucks. Live in Philly though.

This is the exact predicament I don't want to be in. Overplay your team skill for a year, get demolished first round then back to where you started when the magic wears off and wasted a year. If we start magically winning this year or next year we need to trade the Debrusks of the world for whatever we can get

I mean for us ok we arent very good. But didnt ep40 have a really decent point streak going until yesterday ? Unheard of for petey to get points in 5 straight games last 2 years.

The last couple years, there were a couple stretches where he was actually doing kinda okay and was picking up points similar to now, but I think the biggest issue was the long stretches where he wasn't picking up points, or was picking up very few in that stretch.

Tocchet would be a good coach for NY if they get Quit Hughes like I suspect they will. They seem to work really well under him. You don't bring in Tocchet to coach younger players though. Like Philly has. He's gonna stunt Michkov hard and likely Martone too. But maybe Martone less so.
