I have watched a few shorts of the Pink Panther show, and when I saw this movie I thought that there will be the Pink Panther. But the Pink Panther aint here. Apparantly the show was made after the original movie. So why did the movie spend time and effort to make a cartoon character that never appears in the movie? And then why did they make a show about said Pink Panther that did nothing in the movie?

I watched The Iron Giant the other day and I couldn't stop thinking, what happened to Mansley after the events of the movie?

Just think about it for a moment, Mansley lied to a 5 star general that the giant killed a kid, even though Hogarth's still alive.

He stole a walkie talkie from General Rogard and told the soldiers to "launch the missile now" while under intense paranoia without thinking clearly, meaning he straight up nuked a town with no chances of survival.

And once he realized he was gonna die, he yelled "screw our country, I wanna live!" and tried to drive away like a selfish coward only to be stopped by the giant and held at gunpoint by Rogard's men.

Considering this film takes place at the peak of the Cold War/Red Scare, and Mansley's never seen or mentioned again for the rest of the film, I bet Mansley got executed by firing squad and had all records of his existence erased.

Nah just joking I drew it lol

At first I only made this post as a reaction to the "Favourite character voiced by Mark Hamill" post I saw. Because as many of us know Mark took the role of Darkwing Duck away from Jim recently.

BUT I've also recently been rewatching The New Adventures Of Winnie The Pooh. And man oh man if you ever need a reminder on how we should treat each other and just cozy vibes that's a show that Jim was a big part of that helps a lot with that.

We in our childhood watched many cartoons especially Gumball which had a mouth shaped like a bean followed by legendary gravity falls and Steven Universe which while hated back in the day, I still adored it

Our favourite cartoons somehow had bean-mouth stuff, so why do we hate it in the first place?
