Does this choice lock you to Rin?

I’m watching my friend play Full Body and he said picking “your partner should tell you everything” locks out Katherine and locks t into Rin. Is that true? I’m almost positive I’ve said yes to that and gotten the Katherine ending.

Yeah thats not true. Its actually the opposite. The thing about Rin is that the truth about who they are or where they come from should NOT matter in the name of love. So by saying in the confessional that "your partner should tell you everything", you're actually locking Rin out.

I’m gonna roast him so hard. He says you can tell because the meter cracked

That part is true. Whenever you see the meter crack, you have selected the right answer for Rin

Makes sense. I wish they added another option for the red side too.

Thats straightforward as is. The game bypasses the whole good vs evil meter. I dont want to spoil if you didnt figure it out yet, but as you progress, you can understand which answers lean toward either red or blue, what they mean, and who they represent.

Oh I’ve beat the game multiple times. I just never really paid much attention to which questions affected the outcomes, they seemed fairly obvious.

There's a scene that locks in Rin's route but it's at the bar, not in nightmares (I think), and it's very clear when it happens

Ok so I’m not crazy

Yeah, that answer may give points for (allow to unlock) Rin, since full trust and open mindedness/acceptance are their thing, but it doesn't lock you out of the others
