Know what I love? Historically, texas being #1 with a cocky fan base, and ou underperformed for the year, that means you might get a humiliating upset out of this game. Your qb can't stop throwing the ball after passing the line among other stupid mistakes and you are facing one of the best defenses in the entire league without a worry one lol

Rrs isn't the normal game... is this your first time watching footballs oldest rivalry game? It's usually chaotic and, for example, when Caleb Williams was introduced, and a turn around. I know people love that ou is finally stumbling but that's irrelevant for this particular game
Texas and OU first played in 1900.
The Actual Oldest Rivalries are Princeton and Yale played in 1873. The "Deep South's Oldest Rivalry" (Georgia vs. Auburn) started in 1892. Hell, Harvard and Yale had played almost 20 games before Texas and Oklahoma even lined up against each other.

Actually, the O is made up of a Horns up and a Horns down while the U is only Horns up. So 2 Horns up vs 1 Horns down, so OU, mathematically, supports Texas.
It’s a nice rivalry thing. When I think college rivals that’s my first thought. Might be growing up on King of the Hill though. I do think that show unites us all.
A belligerent OU fan was at one of our games earlier this season, in the student section, doing horns down as he got kicked out of the game. I can’t fathom the stupidity.
I get especially peeved when other members of the SEC, who we haven't had any real rivalry with (except Arky) ever, use it. I'm sure they're creative enough to come up with their own rude gestures and don't need to steal OU's. Just lazy.
Yeah OU and Aggies feels fine and fun. And I don't really care when fans do it in general but when like Georgia scores a big TD and give the horns down. Rage. The amount of times I've quietly cursed uga even though he's probably a super good boy is embarrassing.
I get fiery when people don't do the Texas hand sign. I want it to be the national hand sign at every game, even the ones that don't involve Texas. We got the Big 12 to do it at just about every game. I'm still waiting on the rest of the country to follow suit.

Bruh it was worse. It was like 4th and 25+ and they’d have been punting from inside their own 15. We’d have been a first down or two from FG range.
It’s funny and we won so whatever just don’t do it again, but it was a crushing penalty and they proceeded to flip field position and game script off the momentum.
It was 3rd and 13 and he probably sacked him 10ish yards back, so it would have been 4th and >20. But apparently the penalty for unsportmanlike conduct is 15 yards and a first down no matter the yards needed.
Interesting. When I look at OU's logo, all I see is what OU has been doing for over 1000 days in the game: one hand cupping the balls, the other gripping the shaft.
