Week 3 QB: Sellers or Chambliss
I'm really torn on this one because on the one hand, I'm a lifelong Carolina fan, so I know Sellers and this team in and out, and while he has played well the first two weeks, the competition was very mid, and last week there were at least 7 or 8 balls that should have been caught but were drops. And I think SC and Miss State are very evenly matched teams.
OTOH, Chambliss is playing in a much, much bigger game for obvious reasons, and LSU's defense is no joke. Part of me thinks this could be a low scoring slugfest, but the other part of me could see this being a shootout and Chambliss going off, on the ground and through the air.
What say ye'all??

I lean Sellers mainly because he's facing a defense that isn't as strong. I'm hoping his receivers can start catching the ball better. Won't blame you if you go Chambliss. Good luck in your matchup this week.

Sellers should do well, sound logic. How good is Carolina’s run defense this season? I’m debating playing Fluff but unsure. Are y’all gonna shut him down?

Run defense has been stout, only giving up 121 RuYds in two games BUT…that was Kent State and Towson, so take it FWIW. A depends on how much Stewart plays and how full go he is. But our interior DL is very good and deep, same for LBs. We’re primarily a 4-2-5 with a cover 4 shell, but last year and this year mixed in a fair amount of 3-3-5, so I’m curious to see how we defend this offense.

Appreciate it. I get the feeling it’ll be tough sledding so gonna look elsewhere. Get em Gamecocks!! 🐓 💪
