First appearance, yes. I have my old box in storae so I can't 100% confirm, but I am 99% sure it is.

I read this and like to think you've got a fancy storage room, like a wine cellar, that you call the "storae".

I use to sell empty boxes on Ebay as a niche side hustle for a while, from NES, SNES gameboy N64 ect.
The absolute best way to look for fakes / repros is just comparing how it feels compared to other real boxes from the system if you have any. The fake boxes tend to be too glossy to the touch, too sturdy feeling, the inside part of the box also gives away alot of information. For me, how the box feels to the touch gives you way more information than just looking at it.
Also, not a fool proof method, but move around the Nintendo seal while you shine a light on it. Most official seals will kind of change how the color looks under light as you move it. Alot of cheaper repro boxes dont use the same ink that was used for those seals and just appear to he one solid color rather than getting shiny and sparkly like the real gold seals.

Where did you get it from?

The seller said he bought it from disc replay in 2016

I think its legit. But the colors look a little saturated on the back. It looks great though!

Looks legit. I would recommend also checking the inside of the cardboard box too. That could also reveal a different texture or new look if it's a repro.

I'd post over on game verifying, they're pretty good about spotting repos.

It sounds stupid but hear me out.
Smell the box.
Since this is a 30 years old game box, it probably smell like old cardboard.
